Let's consider this as three separate votes in one thread.

I just realized that dashes would be better since that's what the MBs have, and it's easy copy pasting. :P

Ginger, change my vote to Dashes.

That'd be really hard. First of all, we'd have to constantly be running bots all the time, which is a very difficult task. Secondly, there'd be a huge risk of having the bot replace the wrong numbers. A bot might be ideal, but I don't think it's realistic.

You couldn't ensure the bot would only replace numbers right after |date=?

I know that. But I don't want to mess up the votes, like if I changed them and Ginger didn't notice the votes would be skewed. :P
