Should "buck" as a substitute be banned?

So yesterday a user voiced their concern at "buck" and "buckin'" being used in place of a well-known expletive. The similarities to the two words is minimal, only a single letter.

My question to you all is, whether to ban the use of the word in place of the swear. Personally, I don't think making it a "yellowx" or "redx" word is needed, but I'll give the option anyway.

A) Ban the use of the word as a replacement

B) Block it as a "yellowx"

C) Block it as a "redx"

D) Leave it, there's no need to ban or block it

Judging by the rest of this topic, yes it is. :P buck is whole other word, censoring is completely different. :P

using it to refer to a blocked term (as it has only a single-letter-difference) = censoring

P.S. I'm not suggesting we block it, just discourage its use on chat to refer to the blocked term

Are you implying you are unfamiliar with the extent of the MLP fandom? lol maybe you should use the internet some time.

There are enough users on this wiki who I'd personally consider part of it, also LMBW is not a fandom that would somehow have its rules or exclude others' customs. Doing so is beyond our policy.

Guac, so you're saying that this wiki can't have a policy that doesn't let other fandoms use there own words, which is based off of a a different wiki?

You, Sir, are twisting my words.

MLP isn't based on a wiki which is something I felt like I need to point out because you stated otherwise, instead, it's a show that transcends internet platforms. What I'm saying is that DK cannot state our wiki not being explicitely affiliated with w:c:mlp as a valid reason for the word not to qualify as commonly used.
