Recently, wikia updated user rights. Now there is a new user rights group called "moderators," which is separate from chat moderators. Users without rights will no longer be able to delete comments, threads, etc.—only moderators and admins will be able to do these things (click the link for more info on what exactly the rights entail). So the question is, how will our wiki utilize the new user rights group?
There are a few options.
1. We can set up an RFR for moderators and elect a few moderators through that method, treating the new right like any other right.
2. We can not use the group at all, and leave all of the forum moderating to admins.
3. We can assign moderator rights to all active patrollers.
4. We can assign moderator rights to all active chat moderators.
5. We can have the admins appoint moderators.
Please share your opinion on which of these options you prefer. If you have an idea not on the list, please feel free to share it.
