First time creating a Community Vote, so please bear with me. =P
So, in the past few weeks I have receieved multiple kicks and now a ban over the phrases that I use that are allowed under LMBW rules but a specific CM finds to be too personally offensive to allow people to use while he is on. (Not saying who specifically ;v)
One of the phrases in question is the use of "jesus christ" as a mild exclamatory. I have asked around and I have found absolutely no limitation on the use of this, as long as you don't use to to attack someone. (duh)
So, I get on chat, use a phrase such as this, not using it in an offensive way, and then the users in question cry offense and try and force me to stop using it.
Honestly I find it ridiculous how a group of users with differing personal beliefs in real life than me can cry offense over the secular use of a common phrase such as this and infringe on my already limited freedom of speech on here. I'm fine with most of the words that are blocked being blocked, but when a group of users forces another group to stop a common action because they are offended by a simple grouping of English words, that's too much. Especially when it is a CM.
So, I propose two votes. The first one:
Terms such as "Jesus christ" used in a non-offensive manner should be banned to fit the needs of a group of users that somehow get offended by a few words not even aimed at them.
I strongly encourage a no on this first vote, but hey, after getting kicked multiple times and now banned, I realize that certain people are going to infringe on my life regardless. Vote "A" for banning the term "Jesus christ" when used in a non-offensive exclamatory manner, vote "B" to keep it in some users vocabulary. (Of course leaving specifically offensive ways of using it banned)

Make it a CM requirement to try and not let your personal beliefs infringe on your ability to judge a situation, and use the fact that you have CM rights to kick/ban a user that is doing something not necessarily against the rules but offends your real life beliefs, which should, in my mind, stay out of it.
To be more exact, this would bring a requirement of at least 4 users with a good reason to ask a CM to warn a user to stop a certain action. Of course if the minimum of 4 users cannot be reached due to the number/type of people on chat (alts ;v), the CM can use common sense to bring the appropiate action onto the offending user, given that the CM's personal beliefs do not interfere with their judgement.
A user that has had what he thinks is inappropiate action brought onto him can appeal to an active Administrator, and if the CM is found guilty of bias, they can be placed on a 3-6 day time period on which they will loose their CM rights. This appeal process can also branch over to other forms of punishment-appeal, as long as it is not wasting the valuable time of the Administrators.
Vote "A" to approve the slighter tighter regulation and easier appeal process, vote "B" to leave the Community in its current status.
If you read through all that, good for you, you are probably an Admin and have to. :) =P

We do have the rule on the wiki, I believe, that users shouldn't do anything to offend or annoy other users, and while that shouldn't be taken advantage of, niether should it be ignored. If the users on chat aren't offended by it, go ahead and use that phrase, however, if there is someone there who is offended, don't use it. Common sense.
