There's another flaw with this vote: If this passes, it's only going to cause Gblocked users to try and hide their identity, which as of now they don't bother doing. As it is now, if you have valid evidence you can simply report them to staff. This will only make doing that even more difficult so it's completely pointless. Basically this will pretty much cause the opposite of the desired effect of this vote...

Well... what's wrong with that? I mean, we don't have to actively pursue anyone suspected of being g-blocked. However, if they do somehow get caught, we would have the possibility of taking action anyway.
Even if that's the case, it still renders this vote completely pointless.
I would not have made this vote if it were pointless. JSYK.

As it is now, you can report them with sufficient evidence. If this passes, they'll just try harder to hide their identities making it even harder to report them.

So what's the point?

It literally just makes it harder for everyone involved.

Well then so be it. This vote is to ask the community what they want. Whether it is pointless or not.

I would hope the community has an
informed vote, however, not just a vote based on "yes" or "no" without having to read any arguments from either side. This is why I advocate the use of community discussions rather than votes, because with community votes you can have people just vote for one side without thinking about it.

No one is stopping you from making a discussion.

I didn't imply anyone was...? I simply said I encourage their usage over community votes.

Well if you want a community discussion for this topic, make one.
