The title says it all. No emotes in chat for 24 hours. It'd be fun to see how much (or how little) our emoticons actually impact our conversations around here. Just a lighthearted experiment, all in good fun. :P

In which case I think the emote should be removed. After all, last I saw, it was mainly used for the purpose of spamming dozens of yellow dancing men at a time. Is "spamming" considered an emotion these days?

if there was spam then they action should be taken to those who spammed. people just as easily can spam with text. and not everyone that uses emotes spams.

Honestly, I generally like text emotes better than most of the ones we have here, so I would like them to be gone for longer than 24 hours. :P
