<p>So this has been a really big issue. Some trolls come in with dupes using ToR and sometimes stay here much too long because their IP is untraceable. There are very few people who use ToR innocently, and I think new members using ToR should be unwelcome. We can adopt our current members who we know are legit, but there are so many trolls at this point that use it that this is pretty much the only way we can protect ourselves from them. Additionally if they are legit users, that would generally mean we would have no reason to IP check them, so the only ones that will be banned are those who are trolling.

<p>B, we haven't had major issues with trolls using TOR in a while now save for maybe a few instances. People use TOR for a variety of different reasons, and this would be a very unnecessary requirement. If someone using TOR turns out to be a troll, then take care of the situation as needed, but I do not see how automatically banning someone right off the bat will do any good at all.

<p>It would only be if they were found out of using ToR which would be if they were trolling and needed a CU. It makes it easier to get rid of the people that are obvious dupes without having hard proof.
