Vote on linking a Wiki members user page on their user articles.

So because this has been a recent issue with someone wanting it to be unlinked, I'd figure we'd have a vote on it. We'd still link the user's page to the article as a default, but if the user requests it gets unlinked, THEN we would change it. :P

So should we let users choose to take off the link to their wikia user page on their user article if they desire?

B: Yes, but only if it';s a legitimate reason, not just "I don't like it there.": 16

Legitimate reason could be "I don't want it there. I don't need the publicity." A.

B, but if they simply don't want it there, why should we not let them remove it?

But I agree there must be some sort of reason.

A. There's no reason why we have to mix the community into the mainspace like this, however fractionally, and if someone just doesn't feel like it (as I have often) there's no reason why we shouldn't humour that, right?
