ALL POSTSVote to shorten community vote closing times
<p>Currently, community votes are closed after 5 days without new votes. This leads to extremely long waiting times for votes which get crystal-clear consensuses in a short space of time.
</p><p>Therefore I'm asking the following...
</p><p>When can we close community votes before the standard 5 days without new votes?
</p><p>A) 75% support after a minimum of 2 days since the vote opened.
</p><p>B) 75% support after a minimum of 3 days since the vote opened.
</p><p>C) 80% support after a minimum of 2 days since the vote opened.
</p><p>D) 80% support after a minimum of 3 days since the vote opened.
</p><p>E) 90% support after a minimum of 2 days since the vote opened.
</p><p>F) 90% support after a minimum of 3 days since the vote opened.
</p><p>G) Other: ________
</p><p>H) Keep things as before.

<p>A) 75%, 2 days: 5 votes.
</p><p>B) 75%, 3 days: 2 votes
</p><p>C) 80%, 2 days: 10 votes.
</p><p>D) 80%, 3 days: 1 vote.
</p><p>E) 90%, 2 days: 1 vote.
</p><p>F) 90%, 3 days: 3 votes.
</p><p>G) Just change from 5 days after the last vote to 24 hours after the last vote: 1 vote.
</p><p>H) Keep things as before: 6 votes.
</p>

F. I would rather have a backlog of votes that everyone has gotten to vote on rather than votes that only pass because the right people were on at the right time.

<p>Two days is <i>not</i> a very long period of time. Rather than being so extreme, why not get rid of five days after the last vote and just do 24 hours after the last vote it closes regardless? That way all the votes needed are collected and the vote is given whatever time it needs without being excessive.
</p><p>(Yet I show again why we should have discussions about votes like these in CD beforehand, but whatevs)
