<p>So I decided to make this vote after speaking with a lot of users. I believe the requirements for Buro RFRs is a bit extreme. I mean we have like 30 active community members as it is right now. :P And I've been an admin for different communities for years. Trust me when I say you don't need 6 months to determine if someone is a good admin. :P

So we'll have three different parts to this vote.
</p><p>Should we shorten the amount of admin experience one needs to request for buro?
</p><p>A: Yes: 3 months: 14 votes
</p><p>B: No: 8 votes
</p><p>C: Yes: Other?
</p><p>Should we shorten the amount of supports needed for buro?
</p><p>A: Yes: 25: 13 votes
</p><p>B: No: 8 votes
</p><p>C: Yes: Other?: 2 votes (20 Supports)
</p><p>Should we shorten the amount of time needed to make another RFR after a failed RFR for buro?
</p><p>A: Yes: 8 Weeks: 14 votes
</p><p>B: No: 9 votes
</p><p>C: Yes: Other?

<p>3 onths of admin experience needed to request buro rights.
25 supports needed to be successful

<p>I can't speak for others, but in my case I realised that bureaucrat rights are fairly inconsequential in comparison to say, administrator rights. Such a long time requirement before you are able to run is not necessary, nor are 30 supports as that makes up almost the entirety of the current active userbase.

<p>IMO, the 30 supports are highly necessary because the Buros are supposed to be the leaders of the wiki, and as such should have more community support than just regular Admins.

<p>Buros are just users with extra rights. Not leaders, though they do have more say in the community than regular members.
