Excuse the poor title just don't feel like coming up with a better one
I'm assuming this would be an admin vote as it only concerns us and members don't have enough information to properly vote? But correct me if I'm wrong.
So currently our system in admin votes is that we wait for every admin to have a say, even if every other admin has voted the same thing, we'll still wait for the others to have their say, regardless of how long we're waiting.
As you can imagine this can be quite time consuming. So I propose we change things a bit.
After over half the admins have voted on the same result. Then we should only wait 24 hours for any more votes and opinions on it. So for example there are 9 admins all in all. 5 of them support a vote, 1 of them does not, and 3 are absent at the time. If none of the three answer within 24 hours of the last person's vote, then we'd go with the result the 5 admins voted for. Same would apply if there were 8 active admins.
Now if a seventh admin comes and votes, then we'd wait an additional 24 hours for the other admins. And so on and so forth.
This conversation would be open to all members but unless I'm mistaken should be an admin vote. Maybe Ale or Obi can confirm that though? :P
Support (75 percent of the admins must have voted, and 96 hours instead of 24): 5
