Honestly, having no blocked words would actually be better than what we have now.... so, we just disallow inappropriate usage of any word that way. Because with the current situation there's still, regardless of what some of you say, the mentality that if a word is unblocked it can be used/there is more leniency toward that word being used (not by everyone, no, but it does happen and I have personally seen it) and if we have no blocked words and we just don't allow inappropriate usage we could hopefully crush that mentality since there would be no such thing as a "physically" blocked word. And since damn wasn't wanted to be unblocked by the community, we don't let it be used (except maybe for religious conversations I guess), then of course we would not allow s*** and the f-word. But why don't we just have chat rules that specificity a couple of these words, and the rest are usually pretty obvious if used inappropriately.... IDK, just spit-balling here.
