That's not to say it's always a matter of maturity, however...

Some people have objections to words they find offensive. That doesn't mean they aren't "mature enough" to "handle" the words. If anything, it's immature to intentionally use words that will cause problems for users who have overprotective parents, especially parents who don't let their children talk to people who use those words on a regular basis. I'm not supporting the parents here, but there are at least a couple users like this that I'm always trying to be mindful of. 

Using words that aren't inherently offensive is in no way immoral. That's an extremely ignorant and rude statement. Some people believe that these words are just words. Used to express something (usually to /strongly/ express something.) Now I don't curse in front of people who dislike it, but I also don't consider hell, piss, and damn, curse words.

I look at it objectively, these words were not intended to be inherently offensive, unlike racial slurs. They're just words. They can be used in an inappropriate way, but so can many other words that haven't received the label of a "curse word". That's how I see it.

Now I understand some people find it offensive and I respect that, and unlike some people I won't insult other people's maturity or morality because of a difference in opinion like this. :)

Well, they are. Are you going to say to someone "These words were not intended to be inherently offensive." So we can use them here no problem?  Also this is a wiki about a Child's message board not some fighting game. Why do you need to say someone Ped you off?

I'm taking a logicians approach.

So yes if someone is offended by something I say I would say I didn't intend to offend them and then I would cease to use the language that offended them when I'm around them.

Let's remember that this is a vote, not debate club. I don't think either side is going to budge on this, so let's sum up our views toward the unblocking of this word, and all future words, in Yes or No answers?

Healthy discussion on the topic being voted on should be encouraged shouldn't it? I understand if it diverges from the topic but otherwise it should be seen as a positive thing. Explaining reasons is an extremely good thing in any vote.
