So I was looking at Sonic News Netowrk (the Sonic wiki) and liked the idea of a featured user of the month section of the main page (You can see theirs here: http://sonic.wikia.com/wiki/Sonic_News_Network). I was thinking we could implement one of our own. I'd do the interviews, unless someone wanted to assist me with them (they'd have to be active both on chat and on the rest of the wiki).
We'd set up a poll system to choose who is interviewed and that would be that.
No, this is not an attempt to get more people to edit, not at all.
Should we implement a Featured User of the Month system?
A) Yes: 14 votes
B) No: 10 votes
If you voted A) Yes, how should the polls for the possible interviewees be set up?
1) Top 5 contributors on the Special:Community page (dupes don't count (duh)): 1 vote
2) Start with the admins and let the admin who was interviewed choose 5 different users for the next poll and then the next interviewee choose 5 more users etc: 3 votes
3) Use a nominate page like the other polls on the main page: 10 votes
4) Other (specify in your vote):
Consensus
Yes, using a nomination page.
