<p>An analogy between either of these words and the r-slur does not work. Obese isn't a slur that is demeaning to a community of marginalized individuals (e.g. the disabled community). People in the disabled community, afaik, are not saying that "stupid" is demeaning or a slur, if it ever was it has evolved past that, unlike the r-slur which is currently condemned by the disabled community.
