<p>The word "cracker", while having non offensive connotations in certain situations, is a racial slur that some people might find offensive. We need to ban this word, so that no one can feel discriminated against and offended, regardless of the way it is being used.

<p>These days cracker is more of a synonym for redneck or hick than it is a racial slur, since its original meaning was someone who "cracked" a whip around black slaves. No ban.
