<p>Recently a petition to block a user caused a lot of controversy, and apparently a lot of users do not believe the community should have a say in blocks. Thus, I'd like to hear their opinions on this despite this having previously been <i>voted in</i> by the community in the past.

<p>Just so you are aware, a petition goes to the admins so <i>the administrators can vote on it</i>. The administrators have the right to say yes or no to any petition, the point of the petition is just to show them how the community feels about the matter.
