Vote to Prohibit Inactive Users from Participating in all Voting

As you may recall, we recently passed a vote similar to this one regarding Requests for Rights, this is merely an expansion on that one, now regarding all forms of voting. The logic behind this and rules are basically the same as in that CV, this time with a few slight alterations. Inactive is defined slightly differently here: Whereas in the previous vote "active" meant frequently on chat, this definition is a bit more general, instead considering members of the community active in any way eligible to vote. Once more, what constitutes as "active" will be determined through common sense by the administrators and Discussions Moderators, not by a formal system, which would be too flawed for such a policy

A) Yes: Prohibit inactive users from voting at all based on the common sense policy
B) Nein: Do not enforce this policy

A) Yes: 19 Votes
B) Nein: 8 Votes

Consensus

Yes, inactive users shall be prohibited from all voting.

B, I still don't understand how this will be enforced in any sort of way that makes sense?

a, also big up for reserving the rights to determine/scale activity to the admin team (not sure why dms are involved, if all they do is janitor work anyway)

It's a little strange you're all fine with leaving something so crucial as determining whether a vote counts entirely up to the admin team - I'm pretty sure Obi or Meiko could have convinced you that we definitely need something more concrete than that.

what's more concrete than a set of people whom the community specifically assigned with rights to do such tasks through an arduous, long-winded, apparently democratic process? obi and meiko's so-called reforms did nothing but undermine the efficiency of wiki administration.

isn't this why we passed the 24-hour deadline, because it failed us
