May I just say that after reading this, my sides ache with the pain of extreme laughter.
lemme put above sentance in layman's (simple) terms. I'm laughing at you people.
There are valid arguments for both sides. As a gamer in an MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game), I hear a lot of swearing from my guildmates. Do I go all out against them? "THOU SHALT NOT SWEAR UNLESS IT IS THY WISH TO BURN IN THE EVERLASTING TORMENT AND PAIN OF HELLFIRE!!!!!111!!!!1!!!" lolno. But I don't pick it up myself.
In regards to this wiki, it is, as stated: PG-13. Also, this is *cough* the "LEGO MESSAGE BOARDS" wiki. (notice the "LEGO MESSAGE BOARDS" in the name). Thus it is improper to assume that this wiki does not cater to the LMBs, because there is a high probability that many LMBers will find this sight and be led to make an account here and join the wiki (not knowing any better, ofc). And, as someone stated, a lot of MBers are homeschoolers. For those of you who are not homeschoolers (and thus have a hard time understanding their situation), homeschoolers often live a sheltered life; they don't pick up on a lot of things that others would consider normal to know by their age. So for sheltered 13+ year olds to suddenly be exposed to swearing etc. would not be in their best interest. Will they eventually hear it? Yes. Should it be the wiki's task to expose them to it? No.
tl;dr: bad idea to unblock that stuff.
My vote: block "wtf" unblock "lmao" block "lmfao"
Toodles.
