I mean, at this point, I'd honestly support the removal of all this democracy and allow the wiki's staff to do their jobs. The community doesn't have as much say as they think and they probably never will. If the community wants something they can either just do it or ask the admins if it's something relatively restricted.
Yesyesyes let's do this please.
Seriously, democracy would only work if we were all good little users. I am, and some others are, but definitely not all of us are.
Honestly at the rate we're going we'll turn into an anarchy.
I know this is just an insignificant wiki on the vast place that is the Internet, but this legitimately both saddens me and pisses me off.
We're willing to trade personal and political freedoms for absolute oligarchy just because votes are annoying and it takes too long sometimes. I don't know about you, but I'd take inconvenience and annoyance over how it was back in 2012 and 2013 any day. In fact, 2016 has been a good year for the LMBW, and that's BECAUSE we've had so many votes. People are going in the direction they want to go. Sometimes we have to forget what /we/ want and just enjoy the fact we can vote for what we want.
Also, anarchy is NOT the direction we're going. Our freedoms to lead the wiki are being stripped from us one by one because of people like you. If unblocking a few words is anarchy to you, I think you're in for a surprise. At this rate it would take us another protest against the admins and then another 10 years (At LEAST, mind you) to turn into an anarchy. But of course it will never happen, because NOBODY here supports an anarchy. There's just people who want to go back to the era in which non-admins had NO power at all.
But of course, NEITHER of you remember that, as it was 3 to 4 years ago, so basically you guys are those edgy 12 year olds who fly Soviet flags and wear some Soviet uniform that Kep would have thrown into the trash.
We voted for a good deal of our Admins to have their rights. We should be willing to follow their lead.
That's all I'm gonna say.
