I don't know...
According to this, a major part of the community wants the word "dab" to be a yellowx word.
Without a hint of sarcasm.
In any case, to clear all doubts, here's an admin vote.
Should we ban the words "dab" and "dabbing"?

not here to vote but the original discussion says that people will be kicked for it

I don't support, per Apple.

If kicks were used as a punishment I would definitely vote against this, as every citizen of this community has the right to dance, movement, and the free expression of themselves regardless of what other people think. However, I don't feel that kicks should constitute punishment so whatever, let's do it, it's democracy after all.
Here's my spin on the situation:
If we're not going to enforce the block of the word then frankly I see heeding the community's wishes would lead to inconvenience more than anything else (of course, actually enforcing it would be far more illogical, but I disagree with blocking it at all). If saying "dab" is still allowed, but we block the word despite this, then wouldn't that just be an annoyance to those who want to use the word (also it should be noted that the word has more practical uses, which would prove this decision to be even more of a hindrance)? Sure, users could just avoid the yellowx via the bypass, but that makes the entire process redundant anyways.
Um... no, this word doesn't have any negative meaning at all, its not inappropriate or explicit, why on earth would we remove it. Unless there's an actual reason like it being spammed or something, even requesting for someone to not use the word in chat would be considered an unreasonable request.
Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with requesting (a) user(s) to stop using the word "dab" only in the case that it was being used excessively. Like I've said before, I find "dabbing" to be highly annoying and I truly despise it (my sister does it all the time and there are times when I wish I was allowed to slap her), yet I still feel like all of this is being taken way too far.
Oppose the ban, there's nothing wrong with it -_- Annoying, perhaps, but it aligns with the HGTTG's entry on Earth: "Mostly Harmless" ▂▃▅▆▇█▓▒░Eagleeyedan▒░▓█▇▆▅▃▂
Eyyyyyyyy, fellow Hitchhiker!
Well one should keep in mind that dabbing is more of a meme than something people think is legitimately cool (I highly doubt anyone here enjoys it unironically), but yeah if it gets excessive then that's where the reasonable request policy comes in, no need to go to such absurd lengths.
I vote to not ban it, and per Ap, if it's really getting spammed or actually being annoying, the reasonable request policy is there.
