Ask the Admins

This thread is for any questions about what is appropriate and inappropriate to say on chat (or on threads/blogs, etc., but chat appears to be the main issue).

A few guidelines for this thread —

1) Only comment if you have a question for the admins, are an admin answering a question, or have something extremely relevant to a discussion. If you want to object to an admin decision, create a different thread or message admins on their walls, PM, etc.

2) If there is no admin consensus about a particular word or phrase or context, then you are allowed to say it — providing no one on chat is offended.

3) Don't ask about words that are blocked. If you want them unblocked use a different thread.

4) Keep everything civil and assume good faith, please.

Hello... I don't know if this board is active or not, but it's worth a shot.

To keep it short, I am in charge of putting together the LEGO Message Boards archives on LMBE. LMBE is about to be shut down, so I feel it's best if I move the archives over here. I don't know much about how this wiki works, so I wonder if you guys could set up a page for me, wherever it needs to be, where I can move LMBE's archives page and continue adding to it as I have been doing.

@Alemas, LMBE is shutting down already. @TopSecretSpyGuy, I'm thinking we might be able to do what Brikipedia did when they introduced the "customs" area of their wiki, but I'm not sure how they went about that. Just thinking out loud. ▂▃▅▆▇█▓▒░Eagleeyedan▒░▓█▇▆▅▃▂

I know they are shutting down, I just don't know what he meant with "archives".

The archives are a downloadable copy of most of the important/recent topics on the LEGO Message Boards, for reading. You can download them by forum from the below page. This is what I want to move here.

Okay, thanks! Apparently LMBE is NOT going to be shut down after all, but I'll probably copy the archives over here anyway. Can't hurt to have it in two places, seeing as how it literally just takes a quick copy and paste.

He comes here on chat occasionally. You could also just post on his message wall.
