Anyway, I just came to say to you guys that linking topless female pictures is against the ToU, and could lead to you getting globally banned. Anything that shows nudity is not allowed on Wikia, and is punishable by lego destruction. ref: w:c:homepage:Terms of Use.

And finally, racial slurs are in an entirely different category than normal words used to refer to body parts. So on top of everything else, you are making a category error.
So yeah, on logical grounds your analogy fails to make any legitimate point. :P

It was the best analogy I could find. It was not an attempt to bring racism in.

We also allow the words hell and crap here, which I know many parents don't care for.
As for that statement, I'll just quote Kat's earlier message: "This is a 13+ site. Technically, being under 13 here is illegal. As such, it is not our place to cater to the way users here are parented - if their parents aren't alright with that word being unblocked for whatever reason, that's not our problem. I highly doubt we're going to lose much of the community over this word. And even if we do, as I said - not our problem."

I'm gonna ask it again, when would this word be helpful to a conversation? If you really want to talk about that sort of thing for whatever reason, why not use some of the other words that aren't blocked? Seriously, these votes are annoying and unhelpful. I'm tired of seeing them show up in my notifications, and I think people should try to present a half convincing argument before they just vote to unblock a word. "There is not really a legitimate reason it's blocked" and is there any reason why it should be UNblocked? No, it's just another pointless vote that doesn't need to happen. While I didn't support the last one, at least there was kind of an argument for unblocking, while here it's just "let's ublock if for the sake of ublocking it!"

As has been said before, blocking words in the first place is stupid. In fact it makes moderators jobs more difficult if they're on mobile since you can't check the redxs.
Then again, as has been proven by recent events, the moderator and admin team isn't doing so well so maybe they do need the slight help of a redx to know that the f word is "bad".

All it's intricacies, it's connotations, it's ins and outs, the fact that a word has to be voted on whether or not it should be allowed when the majority of the world agrees that it's slightly innappropriate (ok slight exaggeration).
Honestly though, people. These words were blocked for a reason. Just because the original members of this wiki are getting older and therefore have the right to add such words to their vocabulary and use them in their converstion does not mean that it's ok for the newer members or those who will eventually join.
Unless you guys don't want new members?
