Curious, is "The" at the beginning of a song counted as a "T", or do we skip to the next word? :P
Skip to the next word

My god, it seems like demoting for any reason other than "they're doing a crappy job" is a foreign concept to so many of you guys.
But some people don't want to lose the star next to their name simply because they enjoy having it there.
I'm pretty sure this could qualify as "poor mod performance" if you refuse to do anything but just like your star.
did you read any of what you had to scroll through?

Anyway, I just came to say to you guys that linking topless female pictures is against the ToU, and could lead to you getting globally banned. Anything that shows nudity is not allowed on Wikia, and is punishable by lego destruction. ref: w:c:homepage:Terms of Use.
yeah forgot to mention that's the obvious reason it wouldn't be allowed :>

First, this is a really bad analogy as Madkat pointed out.
Second, your analogy assumes that there is a synonym for "boobs" that is actually inappropriate. There's literally nothing inappropriate about normal human body parts, unless used in a suggestive or explicit context.
Third, your analogy assumes that there are parents who don't want their children to see the word "boobs" or an equivalent. Quite frankly, that's absurd.
And finally, racial slurs are in an entirely different category than normal words used to refer to body parts. So on top of everything else, you are making a category error.
So yeah, on logical grounds your analogy fails to make any legitimate point. :P
(Also I vote A)
Anyway, since the majority of the opposers are male, I don't see how "boobs" holds a derogatory connotation towards them.
It was the best analogy I could find. It was not an attempt to bring racism in.
I never once said it was derogatory. I said that it was crude, if not derogatory.
""Boobs" still holds a crude, if not derogatory, connotation, at least to 16 people and at least one neutral/"

And if you older users just want to be free to use whatever words you want to without having the restraint of worrying about younger users, then just go make "LMBW 17+" and let the younger generation take over this wiki.'
=l
We also allow the words hell and crap here, which I know many parents don't care for.
As for that statement, I'll just quote Kat's earlier message: "This is a 13+ site. Technically, being under 13 here is illegal. As such, it is not our place to cater to the way users here are parented - if their parents aren't alright with that word being unblocked for whatever reason, that's not our problem. I highly doubt we're going to lose much of the community over this word. And even if we do, as I said - not our problem."

Why are you trying to bring racism issues into this???

yo forum mods and admins, he basically just called this vote "useless" or whatever, something i got warned for.

Then again, as has been proven by recent events, the moderator and admin team isn't doing so well so maybe they do need the slight help of a redx to know that the f word is "bad".
yeah that's a good idea

As has been said before, blocking words in the first place is stupid. In fact it makes moderators jobs more difficult if they're on mobile since you can't check the redxs.

Honestly though, people. These words were blocked for a reason. Just because the original members of this wiki are getting older and therefore have the right to add such words to their vocabulary and use them in their converstion does not mean that it's ok for the newer members or those who will eventually join.
Unless you guys don't want new members?
A kid who turns 13, makes an LMBW account, and joins chat to see somebody talking their boobs is probably gonna be slightly offended/shocked/turned off, no matter how innocent the discussion. I'm generalizing here but you still get the idea. I mean, what kid would come onto chat and be like "OH MY WORD YAY THEYR'E TALKING ABOUT BOOBS I LOVE THIS WIKI ALREADY."being slightly sarcastic but you get my point.

there are so many things wrong with this but i'm too lazy to answer all except one of them
"majority of the world"
>22 supports
>10 opposes
ok then pal
is it really the job of the "community" on a wikia website subdomain (centralized around a forum about a toy, might i add) to redefine the socital connotation surrounding this single word?
im all for desexualizing the female body, but whether you like it or not, this word is not accepted/appropriate in many homes, families, and online forums. please remember that.
have a good one.
-harold "the truth" eighty nine
aight, let's reblock dick then
and the other million words that mean "penis" while we're at it

Really? We have "dick" unblocked you know (and all of the other million synonyms) and I've never seen it used in reference to penises. Also, the two aren't really comparable at all since one is a sexual organ. Why are you afraid of attempting to desexualize a word, Ava?
