What exactly does this statement mean: "...going to the admins afterwards and forcing them to actually review the situation." Are you implying that we make decisions without reviewing the situation at all?? Because that literally makes no sense and it feels like you are criticizing me, and the others, without having any idea what goes on.
Also as many of the admins aren't very active here I'm guessing the information they see about users regarding blocks/bans is very filtered and biased certain ways. I can't see any other logical reason for banning a user for six months when they only gotten five short bans in the past year.
explain my ban then.

Sometimes an Admin may make a horrible vote that nobody agrees with and needs to be fixed, but that one vote is not a major enough issue to lead to a demotion.
I guess I'm probably not allowed to vote on this considering my current ban which I still do not condone, but I think yall know what my vote would be.
Imo getting banned for 30 days because of an opinionated CM is uncivil, but whatever, nobody cares about what I say when I have criticisms for the community, since apparently I've been deemed a toxic member...
Why does every reply I make to anything get removed? >_>

It isn't "bad" and doesn't have a negative connotation at all, and if you think otherwise you've been sorely misinformed.
And keep in mind, the use of the word in an offensive or rude manner will still be completely banned. This will not make chat more unfriendly or rude.
can we stop saying the other people have limited worldviews and are more or less misinformed idiots
Honestly though, the word literally has no negative connotation. I'm not saying that the person is an idiot, I mean it's lamentable that they had such a limited upbringing, and I hope they won't let their sheltered childhood affect the policies of a 13+ site.

B.
Insinuating that the secular and non-insult use of the word in a 13+ environment is unfriendly?
A. It's ridiculous that it is blocked, we're a self professed 13+ site and "damn" is hardly a swear world. I don't know what perverted world some of you grew up in, but if you believe "damn" is detrimental to society or somehow dirty, please keep that to yourself and don't force your limited world view on us normal folks. All it does is makes you seem nitpicky and self conscious of your easily damaged world view.
A, per Skul.
Same way as a President shouldn't be able to make the rules guiding him himself... =P
It just leads to discord from the community and confusion between Admins and CMs.
A, the idea of Admins having secret rules that they make for themselves is stupid. =P
Silly northerners. :P
Haha I have firsthand experience about being that person and it's quite fun Tbh :P
A. I think a large part of the community has lost the ability to vote with any maturity, evident from certain emoticon votes where people were chosing a random side for no reason or opposing for a laugh at the vote creator.
