It just occured to me, should CMs or Admins even be allowed to take part in this vote? They most likely have an incredibly biased opinion, seeing as how no one would want to lose their position (I sure as heck wouldn't), so perhaps this vote should only count for those who aren't of such a rank. It's really best for the CMs and Admins to get feedback from us regular, lower/unranked members of the community, as again, most of us have unbiased opinions (aside from personal grudges, and maybe some other reasons unbeknownst to me).

Tl;dr - I don't think CMs or Admins should really get a say in this vote as they will all most likely vote no so they can keep their positions. It should be for the regular community members to decide, due to their unbiased opinions.

This is probably going to get shot down immediatly, but whatever. Just a thought. One you should take into consideration.

Edit: I've noticed a few regular community members among the no votes, but there are only 3. Out of 12. Probably should think this through a little.

I wish we could do something like that, but CMs and admins are just as much a part of the community as users with no rights, unfortunately it's quite clear that there's bias coming from them, as the only two people with rights that have supported this idea are those who do not care about their rights. And BTW at least one of those 3 people doesn't even completely disagree with this.
This is still a seriously unfair vote due to the incredible amount of biased. I mean, for God's sake 1/2 of the people voting on this, and 80% who are voting no, might I add, are ranking members. For the sake of a fair vote, you could take this into account and change the perameters of the vote. You called it, so you must have the power to change it and put up guidlines.
I'm not allowed to change out voting policy. :P That would have to be done with it's own community vote
This is frustratingly stupid. Like, wow.
Unfortunately this isn't abnormal, voting has biases a lot, it happens IRL too. There's not much we can do about it.

Well, I tried.

Also, could you point me in the direction where I could obtain the information on how to become a CM? I'd appreciate it.
