I was going to vote B but honestly I don't really care enough
It's just weird to me to unblock an abbreviation with a blocked word in it without actually unblocking the word itself (and tbf I dont see that being unblocked any time soon, if ever)
but, eh
like... idk what the point is
like it would barely ever get used if at all
but A because theres not really a point in keeping it blocked, either

Where does it stop?
No.
lol a website establishing rules on what can and can't happen isn't "censorship". A rule against personal attacks isn't "censorship". A rule against using the more offensive profanity is not "censorship". Deleting invalid votes in an RfR isn't "censorship". And neither is this.

i think the point is so people don't run around with goebbels avatars. you can still talk about these people in the context of historical discussion.
aight, I figured

yeah I don't get the historical figures part. if you're using them for bad jokes, sure, or anything constituting bad taste, yeah. but like in and of themselves? idk.
Keplers wrote: Oh, and what even is freedom of speech.
freedom of speech is the ability to say things without the government getting onto you for it
freedom of speech is not the ability to say/do whatever you want on a website with rules on what you can and can't say/do

Lol.
I'm honestly disturbed by this
Doesn't matter who you are, dwelling on the past actions of a person, particularly if said actions were negative, is not going to help anyone.
And Von, do yourself a solid and stay out of this for once.
sorry.
Once again, you act like the fact that they are victims matters. /It doesn't/.
Allow me to reiterate, it does not matter who you are, dwelling on the past actions of a person, particularly if said actions were negative, is not going to help anyone. I never once said "get over it" and I'm not downplaying the severity of Psy's actions or any of the victims, but how does constantly reminding yourself "oh, this happened" help? It doesn't, so why allow yourself to be reminded?
Von, it's not a question. I'm not asking you to stay out.
it kind of does matter, because this mentality of victim blaming no matter how minor it seems seriously affects people.
and when youve been abused by someone like this, its not a case of just not dwelling on it. if it were that easy everyone would have a much better time moving on. saying things like "Then it sounds like that's their problem for choosing to dwell on the past." very much implies that they just need to get over it. it's like telling someone with depression to just be happy. it doesn't work like that, it never has worked like that, and it never will work like that.

It does. You're trying to make me out to be the bad guy by acting like I was only talking to the victims, when I'm not.

when you're saying it's the victims fault for being bothered by something and basically saying they need to get over it, I don't really have to do anything to make you look like the bad guy.
sorry.

I'm talking to everyone, not just the victims. Victim or not, doesn't matter.
Lol.
as if that changes anything lol

what a nice thing to say to victims of a pedophile, lol

I scrolled through that whole blog and didn't get that moment once.
B.
just because you didn't get it doesn't mean no one else will
per loney, lol @ people acting like this is historical revisionism or something, that would be going through and deleting all his contribs, this is removing stuff from a single blog
but sure that's removing history and acting like he was never here and obviously very harmful
anyway A
also @ removing his article a better idea would probably be to mention how crap of a person he was but w/e
