D. Ideally there'd be a similar situation amongst all MB archives/replacements/communities/etc so everyone has some idea where everyone else might be and everyone benefits.

D if possible. Otherwise go in ascending order from there, only giving them Alien if it's the only rank they ever held or we have no other records.
