CommunityHelperBadge

The badge given to current community helpers

The Community Helper Program, abbreviated CHP, is a program introduced by the moderators in November 2014. It was designed as a way to utilize the talents of a group of users in order to create a unified team of members to aid and welcome new users. The main responsibilities of users involved are to help and aid new users in the community, and to help report posts that they feel may not be appropriate. Users would choose a few different Forums to help specifically keep an eye on during their term as a Community Helper.

The users serve in three-month terms and receive a badge during their term. A user cannot serve two consecutive terms, but there is no limit to the total number of terms able to be served. The program was introduced here. At the end of the program, users would receive an optional gift from the mods sent in the mail. This gift consisted of a hand-written letter from WhiteAlligator and a 1x10 LEGO brick that was engraved and printed with the words "LMB COMMUNITY HELPER".

As of May 2016, the Community Helper Program has changed to being a permanent team of CHs, which will only rotate when someone retires. The new program rules were introduced here. The permanent Community Helpers that served from May 2016 to the closing of the LMBs were gollymolly, Diglett809, TheMindGarage, and flyinggirl4.

The helpers had their own private forum that they posted in with the mods.
