Craftsman was the 6th rank on the LEGO Message Boards. It took 753 posts to achieve and came after the rank MasterBuilder and before Artisan. Often, users became more noticed once they achieved this rank; however, more people would notice them when they reached Artisan or Inventor. Even before the Update, Craftsmen did not have studs, though they did in years past. Just like Artisan, there used to be many popular Craftsman on the LEGO Message Boards, but many were often overlooked, along with those with ranks below Craftsman. Former Craftsmen now have badges on their profile page to signify their old rank.
