A few months ago I (unsuccesfully) ran for Forum Mod and now I think I am ready to run again. I took all the advice from the opposes and neutrals to heart and I have been trying very hard to change from my old, immature ways. Anyway, I think I could be a good Forum Mod as I am active on the entire wiki, practically stalk wiki activity Derp, and I am able to assist the current FM's. Not too long ago we were having trouble in some threads and I really couldnt do anything about it. With these rights I would be able to further contribute to the wiki by keeping order in the Forums and threads. If you oppose or go neutral, please leave something that I could do to change.   2. I've thought about it, and I'm just not comfortable with it. He's been spamming the link to this a lot on chat, which to me, comes off as desperate for votes. I also haven't seen him take any action on anything in the chat.   • I would just like to point out to Cash that linking your rfr in chat doesn't always mean desperation. I don't know what he has said along with the link but it can also show commitment and that he/she wants the position, not just the rights. -Div

Ok, so, I've been thinking about running for Forum Mod since it was added, and I've finally racked up enough board edits for it. I was going back and forth between "should I run or should I not run?", but, hey, I might as well just try. Tongue Smiley-1 I think I am mature and I know when to enforce the policy and when not to. And yes, its true, I have slipped up a good amount of times in the past as a Chat Moderator, but I have gotten better. If you oppose, please tell me why and in what ways I can change.   17. I don't think that someone who doesn't understand the concept of a "conflict of interest" should be getting more rights here. Why are you adding supporters to this request? Why can't anyone else do that? I am also concerned with the constant drama that arises around a lot of the actions you take. Other mods can seemingly do their work without always having people complaining about it. People aren't just picking on you, there is probably a reason, and it would be good for you to step back and objectively analyse your behaviour to figure out why that is happening and change it.   18. Avalair has already shown an inability to improve their chat moderating abilities. I do not think giving more rights to Avalair will help improve the areas where he is already struggling to meet expectations. Avalair continues to cause issues in chat, often where users will criticize Avalair's moderating ability. These are valid criticisms but I have yet to see Avalair improve on them. As Ajraddatz said, now would be a better time for Avalair to analyze his behavior as chat moderator and as a user in general before requesting more rights on this wiki. --Bourgeoisie (talk) 23:44, April 26, 2015 (UTC)

I know I wasn't active on chat for awhile, only recently picking up on activity there. But on the wiki itself I've been active since I started contributing over a year ago. I have over 6,000 edits on the wiki, and I barely under 100 mainspace edits. (Yes I hate editing) You could call me the most dedicated socializer on on the wiki afar from chat. I check wiki activity countless times a day, at all hours. (advantage of being homeschooled yay) All that being said, it's only been more recently (past 6 give or take months) that I've been working on my behavior. Not in a way that is policy breaking, but in terms of being called biased. ("da Christian nut strikes again!") I see how that would affect both forums and chat, but maybe a little more so towards chat for such bias. I'm not intensifying or downplaying my personal beliefs/opinions, they are what they are. I'm trying to fix them, and have been for several months, so I can use common sense in a way that derives from a neutral opinion and not one that only looks one way. I feel I am now fully capable of such responsibilities, and would take them on with much humbleness and honor. I would use my extra "rights" for the good of the community, not for myself or simply to carry out a "rule". Rules/policies are guidelines, and important ones, yes. There are those that are there to keep the community from hvac, stumbling, koas, etc. But there are times when a simple "rule" should be avoided if the rule is only causing disruption and only negating the rest of the policy. I understand all that. If you feel any ill will towards me from the past (or now) , I simply ask for you to look upon me closely and evaluate whether or not I have (or can) made/make enough changes to help the community out. I'd appreciate any feedback you have for me that would better my understanding of my own current condition with the wiki and how it stands. Please vote for however you feel is right.
