Shortcut: LMBW:RFR/FM

This is LMBW's requests for forum moderator page. If you wish to request forum moderator rights, please make sure you fulfill the requirements listed here and here. Forum moderators have the ability to highlight forums, delete messages, and close threads.

To file a request, place the following code under the "current requests" header, above any existing requests.

Requests made on this page are a vote, meaning that if they achieve at least 15 supporting votes and 75% support out of the total supports and opposes, then their request will be closed as successful. Users voting on a request must give a valid reason for their support or oppose. Most requests last for around a week, unless there is clear consensus either way after a short period of time.

If a user has been nominated for forum moderator before, add (2) to the end of the topic header. If a request for moderator fails, the user who requested the rights must wait 4 weeks before requesting them again. For users with multiple requests, add the respective number of the request. It is also considered good practice to link to previous requests for rights when nominating a user.

Ok, so, I've been thinking about running for Forum Mod since it was added, and I've finally racked up enough board edits for it. I was going back and forth between "should I run or should I not run?", but, hey, I might as well just try. I think I am mature and I know when to enforce the policy and when not to. And yes, its true, I have slipped up a good amount of times in the past as a Chat Moderator, but I have gotten better. If you oppose, please tell me why and in what ways I can change. Agreed with all of the above. Avalair is a mature and responsible chat moderator with a keen sense of judgment, so I feel as if he will make a good forum moderator. ~Raven (Talk)
