LUTheGoldDigger (also known as Goldy and Gold) is a user who joined the LEGO Message Boards on February 4, 2012. He has no rank, 12,095 posts, and over 340 likes received. He posted at a rapid pace when first joining often making upwards of 100 posts a day, and achieved the rank Old Timer remarkably quickly.
Gold was in many rank races. He raced SpinjitzuSlicer to Artisan, IndyAJD and Paperclip8707 to Inventor, and Gameking99/Archive to Maniac. The only rank race he won was to Maniac, though it did not really count as the race was "unofficial."
He posted mostly in the LEGO Club, Message Boards, and the LEGO Universe forums. In those forums, he posted in a wide variety of topics.
He won Inventor of the week 2 times in a row and holds the highest post record for all Inventors on YPITMB. He reached Old Timer in 2 months and 29 days, the 4 fastest Apprentice-Old Timer.
After his retirement, Skulduggery773 started a tribute where he, legocityman, TheLoneMinifigure, and a few others liked many of his quality posts as a to tribute him, bumping him up to most liked user in the LU forum, the LURP, the Message Boards forum, the Classics Forum and LEGO.com category.

- The only people who ever re-passed Gold in posts while he was active were Skulduggery77, Benboy755, and J-d-j. However, many users have passed him since his retirement.

Retirement[]
Gold announced his retirement on October 18, 2012. Members of The Speedy Seven still frequently talked about him for quite some time following his retirement, showing that Gold was not forgotten.
