Legoplurk5 (also known as The Hippie) is a user who joined the LEGO Message Boards on January 2, 2012. He has the rank Musketeer, 5,425 posts, and over 951 likes received. He preferred to be called "The Hippie," not legoplurk. He often quoted Beatles songs, being a huge fan of that band, and wrote parodies of Beatles songs. He retired on August 18, 2013.

About Legoplurk[]

Legoplurk5 argued strongly in the topic "LEGO police should have guns!!!" opposed to it because he thought that it would encourage kids to become violent. He got help from skulduggery77 in that discussion. That was the first time he started to use the hippie sig, as Skul suggested that to be his nickname.

He also stated multiple times that he was against ranks, because he felt it made newbies feel unimportant. Regarding his feeling when he joined the Message Boards, he wrote the song, a parody of "Working Class Hero" by John Lennon: "a messageboards hero is something to be!"

He was to known to be communist, and was for a communist money-system in the Lone Ranger Roleplay Subforum and the Castle Roleplay Subforum.

Roleplay[]

Legoplurk5 was active in the Kingdoms Roleplay Subforum, the LEGO Board Games Forum roleplay and the Lord of the Rings Forum roleplay, and the Hobbit Forum Roleplay  In the Lord of the Rings Forumroleplay he led the Guardians of Middle-Earth. He also worked with the band Nirbana.

In the City Roleplay Subforum he made a band of NPC characters, called Wingspan. So far they have released 3 albums:

a collection of Buildhead oldies- But goldies

This album had all the songs of Legoplurk5 that where used on buildhead albums on it.

Tomorrow never knows

This album was a mix-up from songs written during buildhead, but never where published, and songs written after buildhead.

Abbey Road

This album was a complete re-make of the original  Abbey Road from the Beatles, with parodies of all the songs on the album, and even on exactly the same place.

He was working on a new album, All bricks must pass, however is was never finished.
