Matt02 is a user who joined the LEGO Message Boards on September 6, 2001. He currently has the rank Minotaur, over 2,393 posts and over 288 likes received. He is one of the oldest users on LEGO.com. For a while, he was the only known user to have joined in 2001, and on the same day the Message Boards were created, until the discovery of the members list. By the boards' closing he was mostly inactive, but was still known to make a few posts on occasion.

TECOTAL, Genralaustin's game, showed in the MB Forum a question asking who was Matt's cousin.
He was frequently called a "ghost" by Alemas, because he often would make a post, then disappear, and was very "old," due to the fact that he was one of the first users ever.
Fanboy1890 once spread a rumor that Matt was his cousin in the LNSA, which some users fell for.
There is another user who joined on the same day named William02, who went inactive in 2005.
He stayed true to his promise he made when he retired --- that he would check in and post every now and then. His retirement speech can be found here.
