A Mod Cycle is the time it takes for posts to be moderated. Since the Moderator Team was updated in early 2012, the time has been as short as several minutes to as long as several days.
Before the new moderation team, the posts would normally take at least 6 hours to get get through in the quicker forums, and 12 hours in the normal ones. In the slower forums, it would sometimes take as long as 48 hours for a post to be moderated. However, forums this slow were often removed before long.
