Nashtron is a user who joined the LEGO Message Boards on June 12, 2014. He has the rank Roman Soldier, 204 posts and over 404 likes received. He posted in a variety of forums.
History[]
On June 13, 2014, on only his second day of posting, he managed to obtain 255 likes, putting him at #1 on the leaderboard of most likes received that day. On his third day, he made it to 397. On June 15, 2014, he reached 741 daily likes, putting him ahead of the previous record set by Wolfasa of 736. The moderators removed over 500 on June 15, 2014. He was subsequently banned. On October 14, 2014, he was spam liked back onto the leaderboard by an unknown user during maintenance. Subsequently, 24 of his posts were deleted, all the likes were revoked, and his username was changed to Anonymous.
Dupes[]
Nashtron had six duplicate accounts: NorthSan, nashtron2, nashtron-3, HSANDE, THE_KRAGLE, and OrangeLitehouse, all of which have been banned.
Another account, named nashtron3, created after nashtron2 and before nashtron-3, is unrelated to nashtron.
The Truth[]
Many users suspected nashtron to be a troll due to the silly and over the top nature of his posts. It was later revealed that nashtron and his dupes were in reality sock-puppet accounts controlled by a group of users from the LEGO Message Boards Wiki, to troll the moderators and to create some chaos on the MBs. Aftermath[]
On August 2nd, 2014, Keighlian announced permanent bans for users involved with nashtron and its dupes.
