Today is the anniversary of my joining LMBW (and Wikia for that matter), four years today....
I made a blog back in August about, per the title, retirement plans. That was around nine months ago, suffice to say plans have somewhat changed in my life, although the jest of the blog remains pretty much the same. Different schooling plans, among others things though. But, key point is that I've come to some realizations in the last two months, and although you may not agree with me (nor do I expect you to, but I have my right to speak why I'm leaving - take it how you will), these realizations and a relationship are the paramount reasons why I really won't be participating in any active way here anymore. Nevertheless, I have come to realize that in life our true impact is the relationships we have with people and our relationship with God, and that the materialistic things really have no bearing when we look back at the end of our lives, nor does where we go to school, what degrees we hold, what title or position we hold. I guess I always knew this, but it was sort of an Epiphany and an application of it that brought it more into realization than before. Regardless, in the midst of this realization I met a girl, who, suffice to say, is pretty much amazing - and that the online world is not something I no longer need to invest any of my time in, there are other more important venues in which I need to use my time. Life is short, it flies. And, this place certainly had its time, I'm glad I came here, I don't regret it one bit, it taught me a lot - I appreciate it for that, as well as the people I've met and interacted with here. But, as always, life has seasons, and the season of LMBW is quickly passing for me.
This is pretty much a farewell to you all, I wish each of you individuals the best in life. I'll still pop in on chat here and there for a bit I'm sure, and probably check the Admin Site on occasion for a while yet before slipping into probably permanent inactivity.
