The year is 2014. There is a single user left from near the beginning of the wiki. This person's name is BusyCityGuy.
From BusyCityGuy's perspective:
*Thinks back to when I joined* This place is so different...I miss my old friends! Back then, there were not 14 blog posts a day, not an average of 3,409 spam edits a day, only about 20 users, and all respect. We knew each other. We had fun together. We edited together.
It wasn't long after that the chat feature was added...we all were overjoyed! We loved talking to each other in real time! It was much better than those lousy talk pages. Soon, we had more people join to help edit! It was great! 
And more....and more...and more and more and more. By now we have about 250 users. Pretty good sized community, eh?
Oh my goodness! What's this? Somebody made a dupe account!? What an idiot....it's a DIRECT violation of the Wikia Policy! *That dupe accout gets banned for infinity and the owner apologizes sincerely* Glad that's over with.
- *A few years later, 2012*:
ACK! I simply CAN'T put up with this! There are hundreds of dupes! It's common place! It's the thing to do! Every new user who joins chat - SUSPECT! It's so hard to be welcoming to new people becuase I never know if it's going to be a dupe, and then make fun of me when I fell for it. This place is horrible. My friends are quitting. Maybe I should too.
Nobody even edits anymore. There are only about 5 faithful members. Everyone else just spams chat and only cares about becoming #1 on the Leaderboard. This is NOT the original ambient feeling when I joined. This is miserable.
*Stops reminiscing* It's seriously just me? All the others went off like the pilgrims and created a new site? If I leave, this place will become a wasteland of newbies. I think I will. It will treat them right. *Leaves wiki*
So maybe it's not this bad yet. YET. Maybe it won't be quite that bad in 2014. It won't be like this, I can tell you that. And in 2011 even, this wiki wasn't even close to being this bad. Seriously. Man up. Be mature. Edit because you want to contribute. I don't edit for awards. I edit for greatness, and awards follow. Do the same. Chat for fun, follow the rules like you're supposed to. It's more fun when there is no ridiculous spam. NONE. Wouldn't that be nice? I bet you're all thinking "wut spam i dont do that". Think about it. TRY to be the perfect role model! TRY to be the most respected person! TRY to be a good person! Don't give up! Don't stop caring! Don't spam!
The main point of this blog is this: I want more respect. I am not seen for what I am. There are lots of people on this wiki that try to do good. They try to have fun. They try to stick with the rules. Respect them. They aren't perfect either. Sure they have their problems. Can you see past them and see who they really are? Don't hurt people's feelings! This wiki is about 40% on its way to being a deserted trash can. Think about it.
